About Tom Walker

Tom is a chartered physiotherapist with an interest in sports performance.

He graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc (hons) in Sport and Exercise Sciences and from the University of Huddersfield with a Bsc (hons) in Physiotherapy. He also developed an interest in sports massage therapy, completing a (BTEC) Level 5 Diploma in Sports Massage & Remedial Therapy.

Experience

Tom has worked in the NHS and private sector. Privately, he has developed his skills in an MSK setting and provided consults for elite athletes, recreational sports participants and those wanting to get back to activity following injury. In the NHS Tom worked in Paediatrics, providing treatment to children with cerebral palsy and a wide variety of other neurological conditions.

Tom has extensive experience in competitive sport. He has competed regionally in several sports (Athletics, Judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu) and represented Great Britain in Skeleton.
