Tom Walker
About Tom Walker
Tom is a chartered physiotherapist whose core philosophy is providing an accurate diagnosis so patients understand their condition and know exactly what needs to happen next. He completed his BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Leeds, his BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Huddersfield, and a postgraduate certificate in Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at the University of East London. He is also completing an injection therapy diploma and uses real-time ultrasound imaging daily to support precise clinical decision-making.
Experience
Tom teaches national shockwave therapy courses and trains physiotherapists across the UK in how to integrate shockwave effectively into patient care. This teaching experience shapes his approach in the clinic combining clear diagnosis, high-level reasoning and structured rehabilitation plans that make sense to everyday patients.
Why Choose Tom Walker
Although Tom previously represented Great Britain in skeleton and has trained and competed in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo, his main passion is helping everyday people who want to reduce pain, move better and get back to their normal lives. He works with individuals who value clarity, honesty and a step-by-step plan after going through treatments that haven’t given them the answers they needed.
